Tuesday Lust List

Fall Boots

My internet was down yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to post the lust list. Here it is, a day late:

7. Valentino Garavani Boots
Get it here
I love anything with flowers on it, and these boots are perfect to bring a little Spring into Fall.

6. Diane Von Furstenberg Cut-Out Boot
Get it here
Eggplant purple is one of my favorite colors, and the cut-outs give it a lacy look, which I love (as you will see).

5. Rag and Bone Boot

Get it here
This boot is edgier than I would normally wear, but for some reason I love it.

4. Madison Harding Mell Bootie

Get it here
I love, love, love the lacy boots this season! And this one is remarkably affordable!

3. House of Harlow 1960 Arissa 2
Get it here
I love rabbits, I showed them in 4-H for eight years, but I have to admit, I also love wearing their fur. That's probably why I love these boots lined with real rabbit fur. (Sorry, furry-creature-loving friends.)

2. Fendi Victorian Colorblock Boot

Get it here
I was in love with this boot the moment I saw it. I have a soft spot in my heart for Victorian clothing, I guess.

1. Dsquared2 Lace Boot
Get it here
What's not to love about this boot? Lace! Gold Heels! Pink Soles! These are the shoes I'll wear in Heaven...

The Return of the Green Sweater

Outfit

Today I did a variation on an outfit you saw before: different belt, scarf, and jewelry. What do you think?

Vintage

Outfit

Last night I went out in a vintage ensemble. I wanted to try out my new hat from Fremont Vintage Mall:

What I'm wearing: vintage hat - $8 (Fremont Vintage Mall); purple plaid coat - $19 (Fremont Vintage Mall); white angora sweater - free (my mother's from long ago); necklace - I don't remember (it is a charm from another necklace re-threaded on a piece of ribbon)

Tuesday Lust List

Handbags

For my first edition of Lust List, I wanted to do some bags that have recently caught my attention. Here they are, in order from least to most lusting:

7. Marc by Marc Jacobs Calamity Rei Leather Tote

A real take-anywhere bag

6. Smython Cooper Tote
get it here
What can I say? It's purple.

5. Bodhi Safety Clutch in Electric Purple
get it here
I absolutely love the creativity on this one! (And it comes in a bunch of colors if you don't like this one.)

4. Valentino Lace Straw Tote

get it here
Valentino. Sigh. I love everything Valentino does.

3. J. Crew Invitation Clutch in Colorblock Pink and Orange

get it here
My absolute favorite color combination in a clutch. (And it's the least expensive on my list.) I might just have to get this one.

2. Bodhi Angelica Satchel in Black and White Calf Hair
get it here
Love, love, love this bag. I think I would carry it to work every day. (If I had a job.)

1. Lulu Guinness Shocking Pink Perspex Lips Clutch
get it here
I was head over heels the minute I saw this clutch. It's pink! It's lips! It's completely adorable! (It also comes in tons of other colors if pink isn't your thing.)

Next week: Shoes!

Black & White

Outfit

Happy Sunday! I decided to go with a black and white motif today. What do you think?

Here's the breakdown: Houndstooth cropped jacket - $3 (Fremont Vintage Mall. My new favorite store! I hope to be reviewing it soon.); black and white shirt - $12 (Carnation Corners Consignment); J. Crew Jeans - $15 (Also Carnation Corners Consignment. Who would have thought a town that just got it's first stop light nine months ago would have such great shopping?); black clutch - $15 (handmade by a girl at a farmer's market in Lubbock, TX); shoes - $15 (I think. I forget where I got them).

Mafia Party!

Outfit

I went to a friend's 30th birthday party tonight, and this is the outfit that I decided to wear:

What do you think? It was a cold, wet, Washington October day, thus the rain boots, and I had to wear the hat again, since it got the Stacy London seal of approval. As it turned out, we spent most of the evening playing Mafia, so it was appropriate.

When I walked in the door my friend Brandi said, "You reminded me of a girl from America's Next Top Model when you walked in." I'll take that as a compliment!

For those of you who are interested in the breakdown: the hat was $2.80 from New York & Co. (80% off the already reduced price at their semi-annual sale, which I now never miss); the scarf I got for $.50 at a thrift store; the sweater was free vintage (it used to belong to my mother); the belt came with  a suit jacket I bought last year, so I am calling that free as well; I made the bracelets myself; the jeans were $12 on sale at Target, and the rain boots were $23 from Däv ($45 on sale and purchased with a $100 merchandise credit I got for $50, making them essentially half off). Altogether, this outfit cost a total of $38.30! Not bad, if I do say so myself. :-)
